As an DevOps Tech Lead at Aviato, you will own and deliver the DevOps workstream across a diverse portfolio of enterprise client projects. You will balance hands-on cloud engineering with team leadership—guiding junior engineers, interfacing directly with clients to map requirements, and championing a Google-native, "AI-first" workflow across multiple concurrent initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Workstream Ownership: Fully accountable for DevOps project delivery, resource planning, and technical execution across multiple client engagements.
Team Leadership: Direct, mentor, and unblock junior engineers; manage sprint tasks, delegate workloads, and conduct code reviews.
Client Advisory: Partner closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and translate business constraints into technical solutions.
GCP Automation: Architect and write enterprise-grade Terraform modules and modern CI/CD pipelines (Cloud Build, GitHub Actions) for containerized and serverless environments (GKE, Cloud Run).
Google AI Integration: Drive team velocity by embedding Google Gemini tools (Gemini Code Assist, Gemini in Cloud Code) into daily workflows for rapid automation and intelligent troubleshooting.
Requirements
Certification: Preferred GCP Professional Certification (Cloud Architect or DevOps Engineer required).
Experience: 6+ years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud Infrastructure, with proven experience leading an engineering team or workstream.
Cloud Expertise: 2+ years of production GCP experience, including multi-cloud operations and cloud-to-cloud migrations.
Tech Stack: Expert-level Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Containers (Docker, GKE), and cloud data storage. Proficient scripting in Python, Flutter, Bash, or Go.
Soft Skills: Exceptional English communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing workshop / meetings facilitation.
